What do “updates” and “new theme drops” mean?
All customers receive ongoing bug fixes, performance improvements, and compatibility updates (Astro, Tailwind, JS, etc.).
- Personal & Studio: You receive every update and future theme permanently.
- Team & Agency: Every seat on your license receives all updates and future themes permanently.
Note: If a theme receives a major redesign, the previous version remains available as a tagged GitHub release.
Compatibility
Are design files included?
No. Tools like Figma, Sketch, or Penpot are not included.
Lexington Themes focuses on production-ready code, not static design assets.
What JavaScript framework is used?
All templates are built with Astro and Tailwind CSS.
Interactive components use lightweight Vanilla JS, no React, Vue, or heavy dependencies required.
Technical
Do I need to know HTML and CSS?
Yes. Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is required to customize your template. Recommended starting points:
Can I use these templates with WordPress or website builders?
No. Lexington Themes are code-based Astro templates, not builder themes.
They are not compatible with WordPress, Webflow, Wix, Shopify, Joomla, or similar platforms.
You may adapt parts of the code for custom setups,
but this is unsupported and must not result in:
- Redistributing themes or derivatives as templates
- Builder-exportable layouts
- Theme packs for third-party marketplaces
You can integrate a headless CMS such as Contentful, Payload, Sanity, etc.
Licensing
How does the licensing work?
Every license is a one-time payment with lifetime access. Pick by who is using it and what you need:
- Personal (1 seat): All current and future themes for one individual, with updates, GitHub access, and support.
- Studio (1 seat): Everything in Personal, plus the Remotion video templates and the Morrisson editor.
- Team (10 seats): All current and future themes for up to ten people in one organization.
- Agency (10 seats): The full toolkit — themes, Remotion video templates, and the Morrisson editor — for up to ten people, with priority support.
There are no subscriptions and no recurring fees.
Full details are on the License page.
Can I buy just one stack?
No, we keep it simple: single themes are $89 each (any stack), and Full Access starts at $99 (Personal) for everything — every Astro theme plus all Sanity and EmDash CMS variants. No discount codes needed; the price you see is the price at checkout.
Can I buy exclusive rights or design IP for a theme?
Exclusive rights, extended licenses, and IP transfers are not included in the standard license.
For exclusive usage, distribution rights, or IP ownership (WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, SaaS exports, etc.), email:
michaelandreuzzavega[@]gmail.com
Handled case by case.
Details: Extended Licensing
GitHub Access
Do I get access to the GitHub repositories?
Yes:
- Personal & Studio: Permanent GitHub access for 1 seat.
- Team & Agency: Permanent GitHub access for each of the 10 seats.
Your access never expires.
Any code you’ve forked or cloned locally remains yours to keep.
Can I use a bot, automation, or AI-agent GitHub account for repository access?
No. Repository access must belong to a real Licensed User covered by your purchase. Bot-only accounts, AI-agent accounts, automation accounts, scraper accounts, indexer accounts, shared accounts, fake accounts, and accounts not actively controlled by a Licensed User are not allowed.
You also may not request or attempt to install, authorize, or connect GitHub Apps, OAuth apps, bots, AI agents, automation tools, scrapers, indexers, or similar third-party services to the Lexington Themes GitHub organization or repositories.
Using these accounts or requesting these integrations may result in repository access being suspended or terminated without refund.
Remotion templates
What is Lexington Motion?
A growing pack of motion templates built with Remotion, in fourteen groups: looping social clips in ten styles (1080x1350, 15 second seamless loops), landscape web loops for hero and background video (1920x1080), cinematic 18 second promo films with one continuous 3D camera move each, twelve 18 second trailers for launches and campaigns built around your photographs, twenty 18 second typography films that need nothing but your lines, eighty animated charts and KPI cards that take your numbers as props, seven animated testimonial templates, eleven app showcase templates that move your screenshots through space, ten logo stings that reveal your brand name or mark in three and a half seconds, an edit group with ten five second intros and title cards, ten three second scene transitions that work as drop-in Remotion presentations and ten eight second outros and end cards, five eight second animated maps on real map data for routes, addresses, delivery areas and countries, ten countdown clocks and count-to-zero openers for sales, launches and events, five eight second code and terminal demos for developer tools, and ten lower thirds and caption templates for talking-head video. See all templates
Is it included in Full Access?
- Studio: Yes, included.
- Agency: Yes, included for all seats.
- Personal & Team: No. It is sold as a standalone pack on the Remotion page.
How is it delivered?
Like the themes: a private GitHub repository through Polar. Link your GitHub account, accept the invitation, then fork or download the repo.
Do I need to know React?
Not for the basics. You swap images and text by editing props in Remotion Studio and render with one command. Deeper customization (changing animations or layouts) is plain React.
Do I need a Remotion license?
Remotion is free for individuals and companies of up to three people. Larger companies need their own Remotion company license, which is not included.
Support
Do you offer support?
Yes:
- Personal, Studio & Team: Lifetime email + Discord support.
- Agency: Priority lifetime support.
