License
By purchasing Lexington Themes, you receive a non-exclusive, worldwide, revocable license to use the Resources under the terms below.
You may use Lexington Themes in commercial and client projects, including white-label work, without attribution. You may deliver finished End Products to clients, but you may not resell, redistribute, republish, sublicense, or expose the Resources themselves except where a separate written agreement expressly allows it.

What you can do
All paid licenses allow the Licensee to:
- Create unlimited End Products.
- Modify and customize the Resources as needed for End Products.
- Use the Resources in commercial and client projects, including paid work.
- Deliver finished End Products to Clients with no attribution required.
- Use the Resources in websites, marketing sites, documentation, and product surfaces only if the Resources are not being offered to end users as templates, reusable starting points, exportable code, or downloadable assets.
- Convert the Resources to another framework for use in permitted End Products.
- Build open-source End Products only if the Resources themselves are not redistributed and the primary purpose of the project is not to expose or distribute the Resources.
Client work clarification
You may use the Resources to build custom End Products for Clients.
You may not:
- transfer reusable source access to the Resources to a Client unless that Client is covered by the purchased seat count or by a separate written license;
- give Clients, contractors, collaborators, or third parties access to repositories, packages, downloads, or updates beyond the Licensed Users covered by the purchase;
- present Client implementations as a reusable theme catalog, template selection gallery, demo library, or substitute for the original Lexington Themes products.
SaaS & platform usage
You may use Lexington Themes to build:
- marketing websites, landing pages, documentation sites, and blogs;
- admin panels, internal dashboards, or non-user-facing interfaces;
- static or content-driven pages that support a broader product or service.
You may not use Lexington Themes as:
- the primary user-facing interface of a SaaS, platform, or application;
- a selectable, configurable, or themeable UI inside a product;
- a base for user-generated sites, pages, layouts, or exports;
- a builder, generator, starter-kit service, or any workflow where end users can select, export, duplicate, reuse, or generate templates or source code based on the Resources.
If end users interact with, customize, export, or rely on the Resources as part of the core product experience, this is considered platform usage and requires an extended license.
What you cannot do
You may not:
- redistribute the Resources or derivatives as standalone templates or starter kits;
- resell, sublicense, republish, mirror, or expose any part of the Resources;
- use the Resources to create competing theme products, template packs, UI kits, design systems, or derivative template products;
- build website builders, generators, marketplaces, libraries, or platforms that allow end users to download, export, reuse, or derive value from the Resources as templates or reusable source;
- share Repository Access outside the Licensed Users covered by the purchased license;
- share access through a shared GitHub account, organization account, token, deploy key, CI credential, mirrored repository, package token, or any other method that effectively grants access beyond the purchased seat count;
- connect, invite, authorize, or grant Repository Access to bot accounts, AI-agent accounts, automation accounts, scraper accounts, indexer accounts, shared accounts, fake accounts, or any GitHub account not controlled and actively used by a Licensed User covered by the purchased license;
- assign Repository Access to accounts used primarily or exclusively by bots, AI coding agents, automation systems, scrapers, indexers, or other non-human users;
- request, attempt, or cause the installation, authorization, connection, or approval of third-party applications, GitHub Apps, OAuth apps, integrations, bots, AI agents, automation tools, scrapers, indexers, or similar services on Lexington Themes repositories, packages, organization accounts, or delivery channels;
- publicly or privately catalog, list, market, or showcase multiple End Products in a way that presents the Resources or derivatives as reusable templates, selectable demos, or substitutes for the original Lexington Themes products;
- remove original source, attribution, sales, or purchase references from demos or distributed materials in order to present the Resources as your own template library or catalog;
- use the Resources as training data for AI models;
- allow a third party to access, extract, or reuse the Resources through your product, service, or internal workflow.
The Resources may be used as part of a larger End Product or service, but they may not be the primary product being offered.
Access, security, and distribution controls
- Repository Access is granted only to the Licensed User or Licensed Users covered by the purchased license.
- Personal and Studio licenses are for one named individual only. They may not be shared with any other person, team member, contractor, client, organization account, or GitHub account not expressly authorized under the purchased license.
- Team and Agency licenses are limited to the number of Licensed Users purchased (10) and apply only within a single Organization.
- GitHub accounts used for Repository Access must belong to real Licensed Users. Bot-only, AI-agent, automation-only, shared, fake, rented, transferred, or non-human accounts are not permitted.
- Licensees may not request or attempt to connect third-party applications, GitHub Apps, OAuth apps, AI agents, bot services, automation tools, scrapers, indexers, or similar services to Lexington Themes repositories, packages, organization accounts, or delivery channels.
- The Licensee is responsible for the security of accounts, tokens, deploy keys, package credentials, and any other access method used to obtain the Resources.
- The Licensor may require the Licensee to identify the GitHub accounts, users, or organization accounts receiving Repository Access.
- Continued access to repositories, downloads, packages, updates, and support is conditioned on ongoing compliance with this Agreement.
Extended licensing & design IP
Standard licenses provide usage rights only, not ownership, redistribution rights, or design IP transfer.
An extended license is required for use cases such as:
- redistributing themes or derivatives (including WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, template marketplaces, or starter kits);
- embedding themes in SaaS platforms where users can export templates or code;
- creating theme packs, UI kits, derivative template products, or builders;
- enterprise-wide, platform-level, OEM, or white-label redistribution rights;
- design IP transfer, exclusivity, or ownership rights beyond ordinary use.
For details, See extended licensing.
Support & updates
- Personal, Studio, and Team: Lifetime support and updates for all themes including CMS variants.
- Agency: Lifetime support and updates for all themes including CMS variants, with priority handling.
Support, updates, and Repository Access are provided only while the Licensee remains in compliance with this Agreement.
Framework usage
You may adapt the Resources to any framework for a permitted End Product.
Official support is provided only for Astro versions, including Sanity and EmDash CMS variants.
Ownership
- Copyright and all other rights in the Resources remain with Lexington Themes / Michael Andreuzza.
- This Agreement grants limited usage rights only. It does not transfer ownership, design IP, redistribution rights, or exclusivity.
- No attribution is required unless separately stated.
- Stock images or third-party assets included in demos remain the property of their original authors or licensors.
Enforcement, termination, and refunds
- If the Licensee or any user acting through the Licensee violates this Agreement, Lexington Themes may suspend or terminate access to repositories, packages, downloads, updates, support, and any other delivery channel used for the Resources.
- The license ends immediately upon material breach.
- On termination, the Licensee and all affected users must stop using the Resources and remove any copies, mirrors, forks, tokens, deploy keys, CI access, or other access methods they are not entitled to keep.
- Lexington Themes may revoke Repository Access if misuse, credential sharing, seat overuse, unauthorized redistribution, fraud, or other abusive conduct is detected.
- Refunds, if any, are issued solely at Lexington Themes’ discretion unless required by law.
- No refund will be issued for intentional redistribution, credential sharing, unauthorized seat sharing, fraudulent access, bot-only accounts, AI-agent accounts, automation accounts, fake accounts, unauthorized GitHub App or OAuth app requests, unauthorized integration requests, or other malicious misuse.
Liability and governing law
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lexington Themes’ total liability arising from the Resources or this Agreement is limited to the fees paid for the applicable license.
- Lexington Themes is not liable for consequential, incidental, indirect, or special damages arising from use of the Resources.
- Governing law: Aland Islands, Finland.

Lexington Motion (Remotion templates)
By purchasing Lexington Motion, you receive a non-exclusive, worldwide, revocable license to use the motion templates (the “Motion Resources”) under the terms below. Lexington Motion is included with the Studio and Agency Full Access licenses (not with Personal or Team) and is also sold standalone.
What your license covers
- Delivery: Access to a private GitHub repository. All Repository Access rules above (seats, real user accounts, no bots or AI-agent accounts, no credential sharing) apply to this repository as well.
- Videos: You may render unlimited videos for yourself and for clients, including commercial work, with no attribution required.
- Customization: You may modify the templates, swap in your own images, text, and brand assets, and adjust colors, timing, and layout.
What you may not do
You may not:
- resell, redistribute, republish, sublicense, or expose the Motion Resources or derivatives as templates, template packs, starter kits, or a competing motion template product;
- publish the template source code publicly or share Repository Access beyond the Licensed Users covered by your purchase;
- use the Motion Resources as training data for AI models.
The videos you render are yours. The template source is not.
Remotion licensing
The templates run on Remotion, which has its own license: it is free for individuals and companies of up to three people, while larger companies need their own Remotion company license. That license is between you and Remotion and is not included with Lexington Motion.
Everything else
Ownership, enforcement, termination, refunds, liability, and governing law follow the same terms as for Lexington Themes above (Aland Islands, Finland).
